Snapshots of my life

Academic profile

Since 1994, I am a Research Fellow at the Amsterdam Business School at the University of Amsterdam.

Our research now focusses on the field of mediated ordering: we study how people order their life in all types of organizations and what mediating role information technologies - and especially social media - play in that process of ordering.

This is an exciting topic for me as a sociologist as it led me to discovering the workd of actor network theory and all the new stuff on practices, sociomateriality and so on.

We wrote a couple of articles about mainly Business Reengineering and Knowledge Management.
